Congratulations Nos! After all that headache, you deserve a good welcome home dinner. Maybe you can hire Vickie Vagrant as a housekeeper. (Just don't give her a key. [img]wink.gif[/img] ) I didn't think it was possible to buy a house for under 100k. We sold our two bedroom condo for almost 200.

Yeah, got a closer look at the flashing from inside the attic and while there's no light or water coming through, I could have probably done as good a job myself (though, I had far better things to do than climb a ladder). Still, it was the biggest little thing that needed attention before we signed, and if it lasts as long as the rest of the roof I'll be pleased. I'll be keeping an eye on it.
Thanks, all. The place is a lot more comfortable with the heat on, and we're getting down to the last few loads of junk in the apartment. I haven't had a spare second to check the collection in any detail, but I do know that Balrog made the journey unscathed (he passed!). I dropped a box of HeroClix last night, broke my drafting table, and my hands and lips are so dry they're cracking, but I feel great!
